Love in the East

When Shona becomes secretary to a marquis, all she was told was that they were going abroad so he could write a book. She never suspects the dark secret in his heart or the terrible thing he means to do. As they travelled on, she learns more about the tragedy that drives him, and faces the fact that she is falling love with a man whose heart lies in the grave. Haunted by memories of his dead wife, the marquis tries to shut out the possibility of a new love. But love will not be denied.
